A must have devotional. And it's absolutely beautiful. I love the heavier paper to write on, I love the carefully selected quotes, and the devotionals are meaningful and show Jesus' heart. Everyday in this devotional provides value, it's not too soft and not too short... but short enough to consistently do the devotional everyday! I absolutely love it.
Love it! But I love everything Shaunti writes. She gives practical advice liberally sprinkled with humor. This is a devotional that you can read over and over and not tire of it. It's especially great if you don't have a lot of time. Each devotion takes just a minute of time, but you still take something from it.
Each day can be read in 5 minutes. There is a Bible verse, Shaunti's thoughts, a reflection question, and a relevant quote from someone. 4 pages. Shaunti's content is very relevant to me and I feel for any adult woman. (My teenage daughters would not be able to relate to the text.) I love how she speaks to the issues I'm dealing with:Exhaustion, overwhelm, comparison trap, focusing on what is important, need for community, worry. I only wish there were more than 60 days in the book. I'll just have to repeat it six times this year.

This is a nice devotional book, especially for the busy woman. The design is pleasing to the eye, of course, but what is on the inside is what really reaches the readers.
Tomorrow will be day 60, and I've actually kept up with this devotional almost every day - which is a total miracle with 2 kids 2 and under. The pages are beautiful, and the scripture and messages have been meaningful and life-changing.
